Education & Family Advocacy

Many of the things we take for granted become a bit more complicated when you have a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Whether you're navigating the school system, trying to get healthcare, find activities or plan for your child's future care, parents and caregivers of children with I/DD have a steep learning curve.

Thankfully, The Arc's education and family advocates are here to help. Armed with information you can trust, our advocates will support your development of the knowledge and skills that will help your child succeed.

Have questions? Not sure how to move forward? Simply reach out to the advocate for your area for assistance. To find which advocate serves your area, click the link below.
