Welcome to The Arc in Jefferson County, the largest local member unit of The Arc of the United States in Colorado. Serving children and adults with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families from three counties (Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin), we provide individual advocacy and training. Mobilizing Families is designed to give parents a healthy start in dealing with the educational and community systems for their young child in Special Education. - Training for Transition (T4T)Thanks to DDRC and a grant to cover our costs, The Arc is participating with a coalition of providers to present a series of seminars around the subject of transitioning from school to adult life. Partners include Jeffco YouthWorks, Jeffco Public Schools, Colorado WIN Partners, Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, The Arc and DDRC.
