As part of our goal to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence and inclusion, we provide a critical voice in policy decisions, from community and civic organizations to federal, state and local government. The Arc maintains a variety of partnerships to ensure that the human and civil rights of people with disabilities are protected in all policy and programming decisions that affect them and their families.
