LifeAbility Talks: Telling Your Story - March 11, 2020
March 11, 2020 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Save the date for Wednesday, March 11 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at The Arc's office for our next LifeAbility Talk: Telling Your Story. Stories can be used in many powerful ways, including changing people’s perceptions and increasing awareness. As March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, it’s a great time for people with disabilities to tell their stories. Please join us on March 11 if you are a self-advocate with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) who would like to learn more about telling your story while having a great time with fun people.
We’ve got some exciting speakers lined up for this Talk, and our hosts, Brent and David, will be there to keep everyone laughing and learning. Stay tuned for more details in next Wednesday’s email. You can RSVP now to reserve your spots to firstname.lastname@example.org or (303) 232-1338. As always, these events are free of charge and lunch is included.
LifeAbility Talks are fun, free, interactive discussions designed to strengthen the abilities of people with I/DD. The Talks are led by experienced self-advocates who cover topics that promote more independent, satisfying lives. Did we mention they’re also really fun?
