The Arc – Jefferson, Clear Creek & Gilpin Counties needs you. As part of the largest organization of Advocates with and for people with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), we have more than 60 years of history and a legacy of successfully promoting social justice. Our dedicated staff team includes people who specialize in adult and children’s advocacy, communications, development, and a host of other things that are essential for a strong organization to truly make a difference in people’s lives. You’ll be working with all of us to help change the world.
When you are a part of The Arc, you have the opportunity to serve members of our community in life-changing ways every day. The Director of Adult Advocacy & Learning will join our collaborative team of Adult Advocate peers, working with adults with I/DD and appropriately involved family members/guardians to grow advocacy skills and help resolve challenges related to eligibility, housing, employment, government benefits, independence, and countless other topics. You’ll work with adults who are already receiving services, and people who have never been connected at all. We’re working exclusively remotely right now due to COVID, but hope to be together again soon.
You’ll also be involved in creating and delivering proactive trainings for The Arc Community, and working with government and community systems to create a truly inclusive society. Each day will present new and interesting challenges and you’re guaranteed never to be bored.

Starting Salary is $52,000 per year.
