How We Can Help: Our Programs & Services

Individual & Family Advocacy

We provide personalized, one-on-one support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families, at any age and stage of life. Whether it's navigating school services, adult programs, healthcare systems, housing, or benefits, our experienced advocates work alongside individuals and families to solve problems, find resources, and build self-advocacy skills. We’re here to listen, guide, and help you move forward. This service is always offered at no cost to you.

Training & Education

Through training and education, we support people with IDD and their families to build the knowledge and skills they need to self-advocate effectively and make informed decisions. We offer information on topics like Supported Decision-Making, navigating systems, and building healthy relationships. These resources are designed to inform and empower people throughout their lifetime.

Self-Advocacy Activities

We empower people with IDD to speak up for themselves, make informed choices, and take an active role in their own lives. Through group activities, workshops, and leadership opportunities, self-advocates build confidence, connect with peers, and develop the skills to advocate for their rights and goals.

Legislative & Systems Advocacy

We focus on improving laws, policies, and services that impact people with IDD. We work with legislators, agencies, and community partners to promote inclusion, protect rights, and expand access to support.

Community and Advocacy Outreach

We partner with schools, businesses, and organizations to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and celebrate the talents and contributions of people with IDD. Our goal is to build connections and share resources with individuals, families, and the broader community.

Staying Connected through Communications

We strive to share clear, accessible, and relevant information with our community. Through our newsletter, social media, website, and events, we provide timely information about our advocacy efforts, programs, and resources, as well as topics that impact people with IDD. Our goal is to connect with people to raise awareness and build a more inclusive and knowledgeable community.
